云雅.琴栖 A Cloud Sonate
Location: Longsheng Rice Terrace, Guilin, China
I’m excited to show you the logo we designed for a new hotel we've completed in Longsheng Rice Terrace! Say hello to "A Cloud Sonate".
Definition - Within the elegant clouds in the sky, rests a delicate instrument 🎻 "An elegant instrument rest amongst delicate clouds"
Our client envisioned this beautiful concept for her new hotel nestled amongst the clouds in the mountains of Longsheng Rice Terrace. Me and Team REKA Architecture wanted very much to make her vision come to life!
"When life is too busy and you are overly stressed, unload your worries and travel to the clouds, where you can finally rest and unwind in A Cloud Sonate Hotel"
Logo Design & Branding
I've created a fun, vibrant but earthy colour palette with fruity elements to compliment the unique resin products produced by Creative Resin Art! We wanted the design to be bold but also rustic and youthful at the same time
The word "resin" is bold and appears shiny to highlight the core method of producing Creative Resin Art's very unique products and artwork. The martini glass is just a cute touch requested by the owner of the business because their products are aimed to be designed and used for food and beverages (ie. beautiful geode coasters for your martini glasses to sit on 😉)
Logo Design & Branding
Under One Woof is a non-profit organisation focusing on rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned sick, injured and/or old animals. Their mission is to provide care and shelter to all animals who need it. There are over 200 animals under the care of Under One Woof!
For this project, I was given the responsibility to rebrand Under One Woof with the goal of spreading brand awareness, to educate the public on their mission of rescue and rehabilitation, and to attract more potential kind-hearted donors to contribute and support the cause.
The logo design is of a cat and dog, peeping through an arched window in their forever home at Under One Woof. The colour yellow was taken from their previous logo and brought forward into the branding. This bold colour was used to attract attention to the NGO and raise curiosity amongst the public.
Medal Design
The team at Earned it Co approached me to design medals for them. They’re an organisation that sells medals to passionate walkers and climbers in the UK who wish to reward themselves and others for achieving incredible milestones; like climbing Ben Nevis.
They also support the Mountain Rescue teams in England and Wales, “Mountain Rescue England & Wales work tirelessly throughout the year to keep our wild spaces as safe as possible! To say thank you we're giving £1 from every online order directly to them!”

Hotel Moro is a hotel located in Longsheng Rice Terrace in Guilin, China. I worked together with Anonymous Design to create a brand with a concept reflecting the rice fields surrounding the hotel.
The logo is minimal and purposefully designed to be able to be applied onto merchandise and accessories.
Graphic Design, Brand & Identity
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
For Cooler Lumpur Festival 2016, I was responsible for conceptualising and designing the logo and overall branding with the theme Re:Independence!
"The struggle for independence is a perpetual human pursuit. We are constantly striving towards greater self-determination - to say what we want to say, to be who we want to be, to live our lives the way we want to live. We want to be free.
But are we, really? We depend on our smartphones to tell us when's the next appointment, social media to keep us up-to-date on current affairs, and soon enough, our cars to drive themselves. So, if we cannot function without technology, does this mean we can never truly be independent? Or will these technologies allow us to in fact be independent in mind and spirit?
This year, The Cooler Lumpur Festival will re-examine just what it means to be independent; whether we are still able to decide what to control and how much of ourselves we want to allow to be controlled - as a person, as a people, and as a nation."

The team at Accento Cafe and I developed some branding and merchandise for their business. They sell and offer original Sardinian home made products alongside their delicious signature panini, like the Big Franco. I also designed the overall brand for their sister company, Accento Artisans, which is a small business that sells handmade Italian crafts in UK.
The brand consists of illustrative elements that signify the identity of Accento Cafe and their strong relationship and connection with the culture and food of Sardinia.
Web Design
I worked together with the team from Voiceover Market to design a brand new website to cater to their key customers, voice actors and companies that require talents for their film shoots.
The design of the website was made to be simple, introducing pop colours from the logo, boldly across the layouts and make the composition of the pages look attractive and welcoming.

I was given the task to design the Tempo Tea Bar's new summer cup. The owner had a design previously submitted to her by a graphic designer known as Ciara Josephine Carroll here on Behance, and I drew the inspiration from her concept, as well as drew up my own ideas for the client.
From the request of my client, I had to find a way to make it rest nicely on the cup itself and design something that fitted the concept of the cleft with the microphone, to make it look more organic and clean! So with all that in mind, I came up with the simple draft design below, along with a few other concepts too.
So my client decided to stick with the cleft and microphone concept, as she was really keen on the mixture between classic and modern, and she really liked how the waves seemed natural, like sound waves (or actual tempo). With a bit of post editing and a few final adjustments and additional details, we finally have really cool results and an awesome design!
I made the graphic have a bit more dimension by adding a gradient to the main wave, and also added more details around the logo, to make it more balanced with the cleft microphone!
In addition to the summer cup, I re-designed the official menu and also the newest Bubble Waffle Menu, a new product that the team at Tempo are now selling in Glasgow.

In the wake of 2018, Joe Coia, the owner of Glasgow South Side’s gelato institution, commissioned me to re-design the gelateria’s new logo and essentially polish their brand for packaging and social media.
I designed the new logo for Newlands Cafe with an idea that it should feel timeless and can be applied easily on packaging and promotional goods. Without seeming too literal and cheesy by avoiding the obvious icons of “ice cream” and “coffee”, I came up with a new font composed around a circular shape.
I wanted it to also stay true to how traditional the gelateria is, so didn’t want to make it too modern! I took inspiration from a lot of old ice cream cursive signages.
This logo is now also embellished with illustrations of iconic Italian landmarks, hand-drawn by myself, for their new recyclable coffee and ice cream cups.
Newlands Cafe is located in Kilmarnock Road, Shawlands and has been part of Glasgow South Side for many years!
